Während bei uns die Gewässer nur zum Eishockey spielen taugen segeln die Austrlaier gerade ihre Meisterschaft. Chris schreibt dazu:

2008/09 AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS
DAY ONE 2.1.09
Race 1
12-16 knots South West with holes. Paul Green in front for 1st half
of race, fell into hole and came 5th. Matt Hosie did a good 3rd
windward leg to take the lead and win, John Cassidy consistent for
2nd, going left on every windward leg. Chris Sutherland played
middle and came 3rd. Jono Neate 4th.
Race 2
12 - 18 knots south west with holes. Jono Neate went hard left up
first windward leg and never lost lead. Chris Sutherland 2nd all
day, almost caught Jono on run, Paul Green came out on top of real
battle for 3,4,5. John Cassidy 4th good recovery and Matt Hosie 5th
